Dad is hard to buy for. What do you buy for the man who has you for a child? They've already received the best gift. If you're on the hunt for the second best pressie (after you), we've put together a few ideas to help you find the perfect gift.
Dive in and find a great gift for your dad, no matter what he's into.
Father's Day Gifts for the Bearded Dad
The most thoughtful gift is the one dad can reach for every day, like shavers, trimmers and groomers. Maintaining ones beard can be a tedious daily task, so establish your status as the favourite child by getting dad high quality shaving gear that he can use every day.
Panasonic 3 Blade High Speed Wet/Dry Shaver
This Panasonic Shaver will help dad hustle through his morning routine, with Panasonic's sharpest blades and stainless steel foils. Dad can shave wet or dry, and the ultra-fast motor delivers a clean shave with consistent cutting speed.
The flexible shaving head and three floating blades work together for a close shave, without the need for added pressure on the face. Great for sensitive skins!
Plus it looks great on the benchtop, always a plus.
Panasonic Rechargeable Beard Trimmer
If dad's got more of a beard, the Panasonic Rechargeable Beard Trimmer will help him keep it neat and tidy without a fuss. The star of this model is the quick adjust dial. Turn the dial to easily adjust the comb up and down, with 20 different settings for the perfect beard length.
Sharp cutting edges and a 45˚ blade edge deliver precise cutting, even on thick, coarse beard hairs.
This model is also waterproof, so dad can use it wet or dry depending on what he prefers, and cordless for maximum convenience.
Panasonic Compact Wet/Dry Body Hair Groomer
Get a close body shave with the Panasonic Compact Wet/Dry Body Hair Groomer. With two attachments included, one for sensitive/delicate areas and a comb attachment for flat hairs (like leg hairs), this groomer can be used all over the body for a close shave.
Use it wet or dry, and powered by 1 x AA battery, this groomer is excellent for travel.
Father's Day Appliance Gifts
If dad's more of an appliance guy, there's heaps of small kitchen appliances available to float dad's boat.
Air Fryers
The best gift you can give to dad is the ability to jump onto a bandwagon, and the air fryer bandwagon is both wholesome and tasty.
Dad will love his air fryer for its speed and versatility. Being able to create hundreds of meals without having to preheat an oven or deep fryer will be a whole new world for dad. He'll also love that they're much more energy efficient than a regular oven.
Air fryers are also a great gift for those with mobility issues who can't bend down easily to use a regular oven.
If dad's an air fryer beginner, start with a drawer-style air fryer. If you want to get really fancy, give him the air fryer and a 1kg bag of frozen chips so he can get started immediately. Coach him on the tried and tested air fryer cooking method of prep/chuck/cook: Prep your food. Chuck it in the air fryer. Cook the food.
If dad's an advanced air fryer (air fryerer? Whatever) Go for the benchtop oven style air fryer or a dual-drawer air fryer. The benchtop oven style can cook larger meals but does need to be preheated. The dual-drawer style can cook two different meals at the same time.
Rice Cookers
Give dad the gift of perfectly cooked rice with a rice cooker. This is one of those gifts that might be underwhelming at first, but once dad's used it once he'll be a rice cooker convert for life.
Rice cookers are great because they deliver consistently good rice with the ultimate convenience of being able to switch the appliance on and go about your day. They're also safer and more energy efficient than using a pot of boiling water on the stove.
This is another bandwagon product; once dad's mastered cooking rice he can move on to all of the other things you can cook in a rice cooker. Things like quinoa, barley, lentils, porridge, polenta, beans, soup, eggs, pasta, even cake and proofing bread before baking.
Coffee Machines
A coffee machine is one of those gifts where there's a model for every budget. There's a coffee machine to suit every lifestyle: whether dad is a true coffee snob or just looking for convenience, you can find one that dad will love.
If dad is a coffee lover then a manual coffee machine will be his jam. He can customise every part of the coffee pour to suit his fine tastes, and spend hours researching it.
If dad's looking for convenience then he'll love an automatic coffee machine that does all the work for him. Stroke his ego by pre-programming his favourite cuppa into the machine.
If dad's already got a coffee machine that he loves or a whole machine is out of your budget, you can also buy accessories to go with the machine he already has.

Father's Day TV and Audio Gifts
It wouldn't be a Father's Day Gift Guide without a TV. Dads love TVs and TVs love dads. When looking for a new TV for dad, measure the space and get the biggest one for your budget that will also fit on his wall.
Buying a new TV for Father's Day might be out of reach, a nice alternative would be to wall mount dad's current TV for him. Wall mounting is a safer installation, with no hanging cables for kids or pets to trip over.
If you're moderately handy, wall mounting a TV is a simple DIY. We recommend the Sanus brand wall mounts.
Gift Cards and More
If you're totally stumped for ideas, head into your local Bi-Rite store and get dad a Bi-Rite Gift Card. Gift Cards are an amazing last-minute Father's Day gift, easy for you and dad to get something he truly loves.
At the end of the day, Father's Day is about celebrating the dads in our lives. Dad will surely love whatever presents you get him because they're coming from you!
